So, from the Kyoto pics you can see I'm touring Japan by vegan restaurants! Cafe Peace has closed down...I couldn't believe it. Falafel garden was shut too. Then obanzai buffet was closed...so ate twice in Biotei. Next time I think I'm going to Toyko, even though I now know Kyoto well enough to be able to find places I've never been before!
I think in a month after I've studied some more Japanese I will go to Hiroshima, I was speaking to a Japanese girl in the hostel in Kyoto and she says it's really beautiful... it's also south (end of the shinkansen line?) so hopefully it might be slightly less FREEZING.
I'm missing my actually vegan friend. His cooking...mmmm...but I managed to make a fairly good interpretation of his fried rice ya-ta! It's kind of sucky that ppl don't really want to go anywhere here. I mean, I want to go and take photos of EVERYTHING because Japan is such a beautiful place, the attention to detail you see in places is just short of mad.
The vegan thing makes it difficult but I truely never want to drink milk again, they have cows tied to fences here in the city, they take them out to grass in a truck. Also, just the sight of eggs creeps me out. and I have nightmares about the kanjis!! haha!
Gonna do my hwk.....and study kanji maybe.
